Origin Story

Starting as an ape inspired by the GameStop saga in early 2021, I jumped in. After many hours of DD, my hands have gradually turned to diamond. About a month in, as my hands were still hardening, I considered selling some of my shares to start a shoe line. However, my fellow apes convinced me to HODL, and that faith encouraged me to start this brand. Taking a page from GameStop itself, GameStomps will become a digital first apparel company. Inspired heavily by videogames, hip-hop, and sports, I look to create styles for the players both IRL and in the metaverse.

For the non-apes reading this, I hope to grow this brand in various directions that I hope will inspire you as well. Virgil Abloh (RIP) provided me with a huge source of inspiration with his postmodern approach to fashion, and started me on my exploration into not only fashion, but various forms of art and philosophy. Come with me on this journey into deconstructionalism, and explore what questions we can ask to challenge the status quo.
